At first it was hard not to get discouraged while waiting to hear back from a publisher. Now I have started a fan base that will hopefully, in the future, help a publisher see that I am worth the money to publish my works. I have currently finished by first two stories, working on a series that is inspired by the original Nancy Drew series. It is exciting, but also lots of work. Thanks for the information above.
